Here is a simple syrup that is a vitamin C powerhouse. This simple syrup can be used on everything from pancakes to waffles. It can also be added to water to make a great orange drink.
1 cup of cane sugar
1 cup of water
1/2 cup of any orange power
How to make:
Add sugar and water to a small sauce pan. Heat sugar and water mixture on medium to high heat. Stir until sugar starts to dissolved. Then add your orange power. Stir until dissolved. Let simple syrup come to a boil for 2 minutes. Then turn off your heat and let cool. When cooled make certain your syrup can coat the back of a spoon without simple running off. You can now pour your syrup into a glass jar or a bowl. Keep refrigerated and use within 1 week.
